Old Batteries!

Updated: Apr 26, 2021

What happens to old vehicle batteries? Do we take them?

Answer: Yes! In fact these batteries are valuable and thus we will take them free of charge to you!

So then where do they go??

Answer: The same processing plants that accept metals will also accept batteries. These batteries have valuable resources in them, namely lead, which is in high demand. A very good way for manufacturing outfits to attain the necessary led is via the recycled materials market - what better place!

What about small household batteries??

Answer: We highly recommend you keep and collect these batteries in a safe place. They are accepted from residential customers at 4R depots in Winnipeg. For a list of 4R depots please visit this link: https://winnipeg.ca/waterandwaste/recycle/4rdepots/

Now you know a little bit about the disposal of old batteries! Thanks for taking the time to read, and we hope to hear from you soon!
