Where does my old concrete/masonry material go?

Updated: Mar 22, 2019

This material is also very easy to keep out of the general landfill. There are a few plants inside the city that accept raw deliveries of concrete and masonry debris. This is very handy for a number of reasons.

1. Reduces the amount of materials in the landfill.

2. This old debris turns a new life and becomes used in future projects!

3. If you have concrete that contains wire/re-bar it is considered contaminated, however these special facilities can crush the material thereby separating the steel (which also gets recycled!).

4. There is also a huge cost savings in recycling these materials, and this of course gets passed onto the customer and is why we can offer great affordable rates!

So there is no good reason to dispose of concrete as garbage inside the landfill. Efficiency is key!
